Save from your phone
Share a link, a reel or a screenshot from any app. Mindstash asks which space it goes in, lets you add a note, and saves it.
Android
Open this site in Chrome, tap ⋮ then Add to Home screen. Mindstash now shows up when you tap Share in any app. After sharing, pick a space and add a note in the card that opens.
iPhone
iPhone uses a Shortcut. It needs a personal key so it can save to your account. Treat the key like a password.
You don't have a key yet.
- Open the Shortcuts app, tap + and name it Mindstash. Tap ⓘ and turn on Show in Share Sheet. Set it to receive Images, URLs and Text.
- Add Get Contents of URL with /api/capture. Tap the arrow, add a header named Authorization with the value Bearer your-key. This fetches your spaces.
- Add Choose from List with the contents of that URL. Set the prompt to “Save to which space?”
- Add Ask for Input (Text). Set the prompt to “Add a note (optional)”.
- Add another Get Contents of URL with the same address and the same Authorization header. Set Method to POST and Request Body to Form, with four fields:
- file as File: Shortcut Input
- text as Text: Shortcut Input
- space as Text: Chosen Item
- notes as Text: Provided Input
- Add Show Notification with “Saved to Mindstash”.
Now tap Share on an Instagram reel, a screenshot or any page, then Mindstash. Leave the note empty to skip it.
